Hair Transplant Surgery Number Two!!

This section highlights the latest developments with how my SECOND hair transplant from Hasson & Wong is progressing. In the past year since my first hair transplant with Hasson & Wong I have learned more than I ever thought,( or didn't think), I would about the hair transplant industry as a whole.

I have learned that out of the thousands of hair tranplant doctors in North America and the rest of the world there are only a few select surgeons that one should consider. Cost and geographic factors should not be a consideration when choosing your hair transplant doctor. You should be willing to travel to get the very best results. Remember, you are making a decision that will last your entire lifetime.

Here we go again. Six a.m. and no coffee. Let the photos begin!!

The pictures above represent the results of my HT with Dr. Wong from roughly ten months prior. You can see the full results as well as what my hair looks like after another buzz. Notice the direction of the grafts from last year. They match perfectly with each other. You can also see Dr. Wong mapping out the new temples.

The game plan last year was to hide the old grafts from ten years ago and to add density and coverage. The game plan this time is to add density to my hairline and vertex as well as rebuild my temples and dust my crown.

The Procedure Begins

The donor strip is shaved, the rest of the hair is taped away from the donor strip and Dr. Wong injects the local anestesia.
The donor area after deep sutures and staples. Pretty fine work.

Ok, the strip is out and the donor area is closed up.

Feeling good. The staff busily working on my grafts.
They have LOADS of experience Just a few of the finished grafts.

Dr. Wong starts on my crown first.

The first incisions. The first grafts being placed. The finished crown.

Notice the artistry of the whorl pattern. It matches the rest of the crown perfectly.   The blades used by Hasson & Wong. These are just the raw blades before they are custom cut for my grafts.
