Five Months Post-Op

These shots show my hair after I decided to finally stop buzzing it. I figured you guys had enough of the Kojak look and it was time to see what the hell I paid for to begin with. Well, it is so far the longest it has ever been after the HT at this stage and I'm going to keep on letting it grow. The next few months are very exciting!

Front outdoors In this shot you can notice where some the hair has not filled in as much. It is above my left eye near the top of my temple. It eventually does fill in as you'll see later. Right outdoors

Six Months Post-Op

This is it. The big Six O. It is at this point that I really started to notice the beginning of some decent thickening of the hair that had already popped up.

This is where I realized just how worthwhile this whole ordeal had been. After so many years with a mangled melon I was going to have a normal looking head of hair again. I no longer would have to worry about overhead lighting, bursts of wind revealing more of my obvious old plugs, spraying my hair solid as a rock with hair spreay, etc. I AM FREE!!

7 Months Post Op

Actually, these pics are closer to seven and a half months post-op. I was walking through the Arboretum in Seattle and I decided that it was a good time for another set of pics. For those of you that have never been to Seattle there is more here than just grunge, rain, coffee, rain, high rise buildings, rain, and the Mariners.

Of course what else could anyone want than coffee and the M's!! I've been here three years now from the east coast and I have to say it really is a beautiful place  to live.

Oh yeah, I also decided to grow my winter coat this year. I've not had a full beard in years. Of course, it will be coming off in about six weeks because I'll be buzzed again!

9 Months Post Op

Although it is the general concensus that transplanted hair continues to thicken up to a year or more post-op I am starting to think that this is the end of the road for me. I honestly cannot fathom my hair getting any thicker. I am quite pleased with the way things have turned out.

Left Overhead Crown
This was the first goal with my HT. To give me a natural hairline again. This made the whole process worthwhile alone.
