I am having the same problem. I use it to treat psoriasis and ordinary polytar in the brown bottle is just not working. Which SKB number did you call, please? Maybe if enough people phone they might search a little harder.

It's hard to say. Native hair can thin out after a procedure due to temporary shock loss. This can be caused by the interruption of blood flow due to the surgery. The hair will grow back eventually and usually starts to regrow about the same time that some of the grafts start to grow in. If you did not have much native hair to begin with then I doubt that much if any damage was inflicted but if your loss was more diffuse and somewhat moderately dense then some damage might have occurred. Having "just" had your procedure, assuming you mean recently, then most likely you are seeing your grafted hairs thinning out and at least some temporary shock loss.

Try to not focus too much on that now as worrying about it won't make any difference anyway. Give the procedure time to heal, the hair time to grow, and make your final analysis after ten months.

You can get Polytar here in the UK, Dunno about Polytar AF, think they will probably be the same thing I'm thinking. It's available to buy from mostly all pharmacies, around £7.00 a 500ml bottle though. Also available by prescripton from your doctor, but yep you're spot on about it taking out dandruff, probably in one wash as I find, It is a God send, used it for years for moderate to severe dandruff and I'd recommend it, though if you are allergic to peanuts or it's says please don't use, only downsides are the peanut allergy part, and the smell aint great, though if you like the smell of tar, that's what it's like. Foams really well, though not thick like most shampoos, pretty runny and brown.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have been onfinasteride (1/4 tablet of Proscar) since the day after my first surgery, almost ten years ago.

Hello Jotronic, Very impressive work. Could you please tell if you are on any medicines (like propecia) after the transplants?

Acell and PRP looks like good marketing, its not even in same league if Hanson and Wong had done a transplant a year ago. There would be real coverage not a few new follicles based on these injections.

I understand the trials and tribulations we go through if we suffer from any type or form of hair loss. The entire process of dealing with my hair has been a process that has touched each area of my life. I have been researching all of my different options and am always a little suspect to commit to anything. I was wondering if any one has any advice or helpful information. Thanks!
