"Wow, that is expensive!". That is a common response when someone finds out how expensive hair transplant surgery can be, and rightly so, because it is a luxury item. But once you get past the initial sticker shock there are some points to consider.
A proper hair restoration, done correctly, should be able to stand on it’s own for the rest of your life so in reality, broken down over the coming years, the cost is not that great. You don’t need to trade up when it breaks down. You don’t need to replace the transmission if you miss third too many times, and you certainly don’t need to worry about it falling out later.
But the true cost of hair restoration can actually be a lot higher than your initial quote. By this I mean that if you do not go to the right clinic the first time the financial outlay for repair can be double or triple your initial investment. There is nothing wrong with price shopping, especially in today’s economy, but do not let the price be the deciding factor on which to base your decision. Do your research, find the clinic that is the most consistent with excellent results, then if you simply cannot afford to move forward with surgery take some time to save up. You’ll be glad you took the time to save up for the procedure at the clinic of your choice. Once this is done it cannot be undone, only repaired.
